UM-D Club Cross Country is a growing student organization which was founded in the spring of 2005 and consists of runners of all levels. Our club members range from casual runners to former high school all-staters. The primary goal of the club is to unite these runners within the UM-D community and to ensure that boredom does not consume those who would otherwise run alone! We provide an easy-going environment for runners of all abilities with plenty of opportunity for competition as well. The only requirement to join is a passion for running!

Cross Country is an entirely student directed club sport at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. There are no coaches, which allows us to promote student leadership through our board of officers.

5/27/09 - Freshman Orientations: It's that time of year again! Freshman Orientation is upon us and it is time to recruit some new runners. We're looking for a few runners to come out and help us recruit. Click here for more info!

3/28/09 - No Frills All Thrills Results: Last week 4 runners headed out to Brighton to run in the 5 mile trail race. Congrats to Jacob Mack and Ana Buia for winning their respective age groups! Also congrats to Craig Cowing and Teresa Cook for placing 2nd in their respective age groups! Results here.

3/11/09 - Martian Marathon: Help out the club and join us as we volunteer at the Martian Marathon on April 5, 2009. For more information, click here!

2/9/09 - Road Race Results: The results are in for both the Super 5k and Riverview Winterfest. Congrats to Josh Matthews and Teresa Cook for both placing 2nd in their respective age groups at the Riverview Winterfest! Results for both races can be found here.

11/28/08 - Detroit Turkey Trot: Did you find Waldo!? Some runners on the team headed downtown before sunrise to run the 26th annual Detroit Turkey Trot. A new registration record was set with ~10,000 runners in both in the 5 & 10k. Congrats to Teresa Cook for finishing 3rd in the in her age group and 6th overall (out of 1906) in the women's 5K! 11/15/08 - Music Videos Galore: Car 1's famous music videos from Regionals and Nationals have now hit YouTube! Also, if you ever wanted to know how to get a truck to honk on road trips, there's a video on that too. Check them out here!

11/10/08 - NIRCA National Championship: Just this past weekend, UMDxc sent 12 runners to Happy Valley, PA for Nationals. Congrats to the guys for fielding their first full team at Nationals! They finished 21st overall, led by freshmen Craig Cowing who finished the 8k race in 30:45. The women were one runner short of a full team, but were led by junior Ana Buia, who finished the 6k race in 24:50. Results
